Design graphics for the temporary exhibition Vision & Labour: Making Comics at Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate.
Vision & Labour: Making Comics – The Art of Avery Hill Publishing was a major exhibition celebrating independent comics and the creative process, held at the Mercer Art Gallery in Harrogate.
The exhibition highlighted the labour-intensive craftsmanship behind graphic novels through original art, scripts, and displays.
Graphics we designed included:
- Title / entrance vinyls
- Artist biography panels
- Speech bubble headers
- Speech bubble quotes
- Information wall graphics
- Interpretation panels
- Object labels
- Large cover panels
- Stickers
We also provided print and production of various exhibition assets. This included setting up supplied artwork, created by the digital graphic artists featured in the exhibition, for print.
